Profusely illustrated with reproductions of Catlin's drawings. Bound into red quarter leather over marbled boards. Text and plates are unmarked, though the pages are a little yellowed. There is a previous owner's inscription on one of the first free end pages and a different previous owner's plate attached inside the front cover. Binding is sturdy. Covers are worn around the edges and the leather is flaked at the corners and at the head and base of the spine. The lower corners of the covers are bumped. The marbled paper on the covers is shelf scuffed and the spine is age toned.”
