Following in the high-tops of NBA Street comes Street Hoops, a basketball game distinguished by its urban setting, authentic players and venues, and playground style made popular in films like Hoop Dreams and White Men Can't Jump. A total of three modes of play are available: World Tournament, Lord of the Court, and Pick-Up Game, with the latter playable in Full or Half Court settings. <br><br>World Tournament involves traveling across the U.S. to take on the top teams from ten featured cities. Each game is worth a set amount of cash, which can be used to unlock four additional courts and teams. Lord of the Court has players defending their home court from a series of rivals. Each win unlocks various movies and secret characters. Pick-Up Game has up to four players competing on their choice of courts with various combinations of teams, from one-on-one to a full five-on-five. Winning a game earns all players involved $100 to spend at an assortment of stores.<br><br>Cash can be spent on authentic apparel from such brands as Fila, Snoop Dogg Clothing, and Dada, on various tattoos or new hairstyles, and on jewelry such as necklaces, ear studs, and watches. A visit to the local bookie lets players bet on their team to earn even more money. Gameplay offers crossover dribbles and jukes, spin moves and user-controlled dunks, and both lay-ups and fadeaway jumpers. Players can also create their own athlete by selecting a gender, height, body type, and a move set. Eleven attributes, from speed to blocking ability, can be adjusted after forking over the green.
