Seller notes: “A stunning Victorian 15ct Gold Foiled Amethyst Five Stone Ring dating to c1885 (please study the ... “A stunning Victorian 15ct Gold Foiled Amethyst Five Stone Ring dating to c1885 (please study the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item's description).This wonderful Antique Ring, which weighs 2.3 grams, has been crafted in 15ct Gold with loop detail to the shoulders and is set centrally with a Cushion-shaped Amethyst flaked to either side by two smaller stones - all foiled in closed back settings typical of the Period. Needless to say it looks absolutely stunning on the hand.As shown the hallmark is indistinct and the band has been re-sized historically, but the ring has been tested and is guaranteed to be made from solid 15ct Gold. As shown in the detailed close up photographs provided (taken at x10 magnification) it is in great condition overall with only wear commensurate with age. The ring is sized as a UK Ring Size 'K 1/2' or a US Ring Size '5 1/2'”
