Seller notes: “Good overall condition - some discoloration as shown from age including a few larger spots (as seen ... “Good overall condition - some discoloration as shown from age including a few larger spots (as seen in 5th photo). Light wear to corners, somewhat rounded. Small hole in the upper center, looks like from a tack. Reverse has stamp from the newspaper indicating the piece's use in publication. There is some remnant adhesive paper on the reverse that used to be an order slip used to move this from department to department. The last two photos are scans from page 9 of the sports section in the Christian Science Monitor from May 12th, 1955 where this appeared in print (it may have been syndicated in other papers as well) - the newspaper is not included in the sale (shown for provenance only).”
