Our old remote was getting more difficult to use to turn the volume up and down or mute! Took the chance with this one, and I’m so glad we did. It worked flawlessly right at the package, we put in batteries, used it to power on the Panasonic receiver, SC-35, and we now have volume control and mute capabilities. Haven’t tried playing with all the other control options on the remote yet.
