Chronicling the eerie underbelly of London's bright facade, URBAN GOTHIC was a cult TV show written by 23-year-old Tom de Ville. Lurking in dark corners, unseen by most, are the predators that many don't wish to acknowledge, and each episode relates a new creepy, horrific tale, featuring a revolving cast of young, talented, and sexy newcomers. In "Vampirology," a group of film students document the life of a vampire as he goes about his day in Soho, while in "Lacuna," some kids attempting to steal drugs from a mental institution are mistaken for patients by a nurse, who begins her own experiments on them. The new family in town begins to notice something eerie in its perfection in "Pineapple Chunks," and what is the meat that the dog keeps bringing home? Somewhere between BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and THE TWILIGHT ZONE, there's URBAN GOTHIC, a season-full of horrific delights.
