Shipped w/dead batteries both devices that were leaking chemical fluid. No apparent rust or corrosion on battery contacts, fortunately; fresh batteries show electrical connections appear to be working properly. Taking risk that corrosion will no occur down the road since need the shutter activation device right away. Fingers are crossed.
