the item was sold internationally through Ebay's Global Shipping Service and as such it is Ebay which charges for international postage and taxes etc, so I cannot be held accountable for these charges. My postal charge was £3 to get the item to the shipping centre! Nevertheless, an understanding buyer, with good communication, who was given the choice of cancelling the order due to her concern over the international shipping costs. I'm very pleased she was thrilled with her lovely little jug.
