The compass was of poor quality. There was no datum line on which to read bearings and the north-seeking needle was not very stable. I didn't expect much for the price, but there is no way I could use this either for navigational purposes, nor even to give basic training to others on how to use a compass.
The design of the compass merits only 3 stars, but that is not the seller's fault. It was dispatched and delivered quickly, so I have given a 5-star rating for delivery.
