The extenders are machined out of mild steel and are not finished (primed or painted) in any way, not black as the description states. The lack of weather proofing makes them prone to rusting and unsuitable on a motorcycle. The finish on the extenders was rough and they were rather dirty. A note was included asking to contact the seller if the product was not to my liking but it is so sub-standard that I don't know why I should have to waste my time and effort with refunds or replacements.
