The first time, I epoxied it back on, but the second time, I could not remove the adhesive. This looked like an upgrade, and the seller offered me a reduced price, so I gave it a try. Alas, the product looks nice but the threading didn't quite match up, and the leather got wrenched out of place when I tightened it down. So, I popped off the emblem and put it on the original knob with some double sided tape. The workaround looks just fine!
