New springs should be included. The original springs from DeWalt broke the first time I squeezed the new release lever. However, others have noted that even the new springs they bought broke after installing these levers. I never should have bought them. Buy new brackets for 35.00 (they are on sale) and you're ahead of the game by the time you pay 15 bucks for these and then other 20 bucks for new springs and your old brackets still have all the other old parts. This is a sham.

Its no secret that the OEM leaf springs are just as fragile and brittle as the OEM lever. Hence why we sell an aftermarket spring as well that carries a lifetime replacement warranty because THEY WILL NEVER BREAK. Unlike the OEM springs as youve now learned. We arnt here to be the cheapest option, here to be the best option. If youd like to save money and just buy another identical OEM bracket that is also prone to breaking just to save a few bucks.....well you get what you pay for dont you?
