Being compatible with iPods and Bluetooth capable devices, as well as being satellite ready, experience the ability to create your own home theater. The Yamaha RX-V665 receiver has four HDMI inputs and one output port available, as well as two component video inputs and one output ports. There is also a front mini input for portable devices. Superior sound is the result of the YPAO (Yamaha Parametric Acoustic Optimizer) Automatic System Calibration technology that is built into the Yamaha RX-V665 7.2 Channel 90 Watt Receivers. This technology works by conducting speaker connection checks and speaker phase ratings. With the use of a small microphone, the YPAO technology performs an analysis on room acoustics and sets perimeters with the returned information. Recorded data includes the speaker size, distance of the speakers from the receiver, and sound pressure levels experienced within the room whether listening to videos, television programs, or music. The high-tech design of the YPAO Automatic System Calibration results in the best surround sound within any room throughout your home. Many advanced features are found with the Yamaha RX-V665 receivers that allow you to create a home theater in any room. Silent Cinema offers natural and realistic audio delivery through the use of DSP (digital signal processing) algorithm for headphones. An example of these noise canceling devices include the Dolby TrueHD headphones. As a Sirius-Ready audio system, listen to all of your Sirius Satellite Radio music, sports, uncensored audio programs, and more with paid subscription and Sirius Connect Home Tuner, which is sold separately. DTS-HD Master Audio gives you the ability to watch all of your Blue-Ray discs in style with an uninterrupted display. This technology is supported by HDMI version 1.3 and higher. A built-in HDMI (High-Definition Interface) provides interfacing between any source and audio/video monitor. With the Dolby Digital Plus technology, all A/V (audio/video) components come together to create the perfect home theater.
