I grew up in southern California, so when I had fewer chances to visit San Francisco and it seems like all my visits were during different travels with various friends. In my early years, I would hear my parents talk about their visits to this canyon with my Aunt & Uncle. Finally, as my brother, sister & I got a little older, my parents would also take us to Oak Creek Canyon. The beauty lived up to every expectation I had from listening to their discussions.
