In the process he discovers further anomalies - swarms of giant ants emerging from the ground being among the least of his worries. A disturbing fetish for Cyberisation has taken hold of Britain, and the Doctor can probably guess who's behind it... Against a background of international (and trans-dimensional) espionage, giant ants and Cyber-primates, and quite possible the end of the world as we know it, the Doctor struggles to save his companion from a fate which she seems more and more determined to bring upon herself.
