This is a very valid point. I now have a roll of DO NOT BEND stickers, which will be applied to all paper ephemera mailed in padded envelopes in the future. (My ephemera is already mailed with acid-free cardboard backers in acid-free pouches, in addition to padded envelopes.) Thank you for the suggestion!
