The cassette deck did not work when it arrived. The packaging was good but I think the vibration/shock in transport shifted the tape drive mechanism so that it would not run. The seller said it worked when it was shipped but would take it back if it was not tampered with. I opened up the back cover and helped the drive with my finger and it started to run. I adjusted it and it worked great!
The deck is in very nice shape! It was a good purchase!
