The embossed decoration is in superb condition with no wear worries or any holes from polishing over its years. The underneath of the base does have some age related wear which has to be expected with age and use. The lid opens just how it should and closes tightly shut. The gold gilt interior is in excellent condition for its age and looks as good as the day it was made very rare to come by like this now these days. The box is hallmarked with matching hallmarks its an all original example which are all readable. A stunning clean example which is ready to be used or a superb addition to your collection.”
