Appears to be an authentic gold nib …it writes like one, which makes the price un-objectionable. Appearance is suspect - twist-action is a bit rough and does not appear to match Lamy precision/quality (does not join properly) does not seem to meet “German standards,” no brand. It writes well, however. Very well! If the nib is real, then - a good purchase!
