        Best I can tell these ferrules are nylon or 3d printed and not anodized aluminum

        Hi, these are real aluminum alloy and you can use a knife or san paper to remove the surface anodized layer on the back to check. Aluminum is just 2x the density of nylon so they do feel light on hands. If you don't like them, you are very welcome to return the items. Thanks.
