The item was listed as “new” but I would not necessarily agree with that, given the look of the mug. It has white spots all over the bottom. After doing some research, it appears that it possibly came from being washed or rinsed in hot water and calcium buildup got trapped inside. A “new” product has no reason to be washed or handled like that. There was also sticker residue I had to remove. But it replaces my broken mug. So it does the job.
