    Don't be afraid to cut off more than one rib. At least on the big end. I had to and bc I looked carefully on the surface of the underneath and every section has seating groves where the rubber touches the metal and where the band goes on. Also the glue holds well. I've driven close to 4,000 miles already and it still looks new. Good product. My Brother who recommended this boot also has had a great expression.
