Voodoo Vince is a 3D platform game starring the unlikely heroics of a voodoo doll unleashed upon the Louisiana Bayou. What sets this title apart from most games in the genre is the method used to combat enemies. Rather than attack them directly, players must literally attack themselves to inflict bodily harm upon those around them. Voodoo Vince can jab his rag doll, burlap-covered body with pins, slam his head with a mallet, or run through fire to make enemies howl in pain. The setting is a larger-than-life New Orleans, filled with cypress trees, swamps, sewers, and set to a playful mix of Cajun and Jazz music. Players will encounter such bizarre characters as the Ginger Dead Men or inebriated gas pumps as they guide Voodoo Vince to safety. Other activities include hitching a ride on a hydrofoil, latching onto a submariner shrimp, riding an unwilling rat, and even piloting toy airplanes.
