This is the OEM Turbo for US model 91-93 Saab 900 Turbos. These also come on the 1990 900 SPG as well as the 1994 900 Turbo convertibles. These will directly replace all classic 900 Turbos. This will even work on the old oil cooled 16V turbos, with or without the water cooling jacket hooked up. This is generally considered the better turbo for the classic 900 with improved spool up time. Please note that these turbos almost always have a crack in the exhaust housing near the wastegate. This does not affect their operation. I did not note this one to have any visible cracks in the housing however I did not examine it closely with a microscope so there may be a small one as these always do but again, this will not affect the operation of the turbo.”
