        You initially purchased a 42DD. This is a 40DD. A DD is NOT the same volume cup throughout the band sizes. The volume of a 40DD is less than the 42DD. This bra does not fit you. That is why the cup feels like a minimizer. Please, see the listing where it emphasizes a much easier and more enjoyable sizing experience, which requires two easy measurements along with the size chart provided. It is a better choice than guessing, yet we do offer 30-day returns just in case you don't care for the fit.
