In this edition of Natsume's socially minded farm sim, players take the role of an urbanite who whimsically moved to the country in response to an advertisement touting the idyllic rural lifestyle. Of course, upon arriving at their new home, players find a run-down property in need of lots of hard work and affection. Players can take the role of a male or female character in More Friends of Mineral Town. Gameplay comprises all aspects of life on the farm, including agriculture, animal husbandry, estate management, and acceptance in the nearby rural community. Special features are unlocked when players connect More Friends of Mineral Town to its companion GameCube release, Another Wonderful Life, through a GameCube-GBA link cable.
