Seller did not respond to two messages about this problem. eventually Ebay issued refund. I would also advise care in using the elbows. They may be blue but that is only a colour. It took me a week to find out why my wifi no longer worked on my raspberry pi - it was the elbow. As soon as I plugged the boot ssd direct to the same port, I got my wifi back. Heaven knows what else might have been going wrong.
