Bend in the crossbar is a bit extreme. Bend down it wouldn't fit, bend up it wouldn'tstay on when locked. I have two other similar locks from different suppliers, they're all a little bit different. I swapped your lock body with one of my others from a different trailer and did some minor surgery with an angle grinder and got a much better fit for both trailers. I wasn't surprised; my first similar lock from another supplier also needed surgery for the best possible fit. Happy buyer.
