Turns out the new ones were out of stock, they subbed a clean, used one and discounted it. It did work fine. On this order, I specified new only, and I got good communication that part number was out of stock with a shipment due soon, and could I wait. I could, they estimated the date, and the unit came a little before the expected due date. It was indeed new, so satisfied.
