FIRST TIME TRYING PAT COILS & I WILL TEST THEM FOR 100,000 km. I CHECKED BEFORE FITTING THEM AND THE OHMS WERE ALL ABOUT THE SAME RANGE. FOUND ONE WITH A DRIBBLE OF SILICON ON THE SIDE OF THE COIL.

One coil had a misfire, upon disassembly, melted plastic was fouling the connection between the coil pack and the boot, caused by solder, in a place where there shouldn't even be solder. Inspection of construction of part does not match locally sourced genuine NGK part, removal of the supplier stickers from the boxes reveals a 'made in china' label.
