With that said was a very tight fit for a Bao UV-5,so,first jam say a Altoids tin ect in unit after adjusting to widest position on snug strap/wrapped bar of soap would work also/break in unit and then much easier fit,still,will need to be careful as not a quick removal of radio,still stretching mine but now accepts radio,worth it for Molle compatible gear.
