It was very difficult to be assured that the thread characteristics were what I needed. It kept on referring to metric specific numbers. I saw a picture that indicated 5/16", but when I ordered it, all the pictures I saw were in metric. I just took a chance and it worked out fine. The quality and value seemed good. Time will tell!
