Works like it should. The replacement remotes don't let you control each sound channel. If you need a remote for your Yamaha receiver, do not buy a replacement remote, get an OEM remote. You will be much happier because, the OEM remote will do all the things you need it to do! I'm happy with this one and will buy another so I can get the most out of my wonderful Yamaha surround sound system. It's an older wired system and sounds much better than the newer Bluetooth systems. I recommend this one!
