After thumbing through the book I found the binding loose at the back only. Luckily it will still holding on at the front side of the book. I'm gluing it together now. It would have been nice for the seller to take a photo of this damage, disclosing it to potential buyers. I would have still bought it. Next time be thorough and honest. Take a photo and disclose the damage so everyone can see it.

I apologize for the late reply. We would never do this and if we missed this I will happily take it back. I have 1000's of Mercedes books that we are selling from years of the family collection. I thought we went through this front to back and I was not present the day of shipping.
