I don't hold casual ebay sellers to the same standards as people that make a career out of it. That being said, I do believe that it falls on a buyer to look at seller ratings to get an idea what to expect. This seller had mostly gotten feedback from purchases, rather than from sales.
Long/short: I reached out, they responded a few days later, they apologized and shipped the item that day. It's harsh to 1 star a casual seller for forgetting the 'away' notice. Was late but no harm, satisfied.

Avoid! Seller accepted the offer (there was a delay so I know it wasn't auto-accepted). 1 week later, we're past the end of the estimated delivery window, still no tracking info, no indication the item has even shipped, there was no "seller is away" and, no communication from seller regarding delay. I saw 1 prior negative feedback as a seller and figured it was likely a 1 off. That was my mistake, I am now, at least, the 2nd person who seller has taken $ from and then ghosted. Bad ebayer, avoid!
