I bought this to fit my RY401017VNM mower. It did not fit the receptacle. Rather than send it back I decided to tear it apart to find out why. First of all it was physically too big to fit in the receptacle. Secondly, one of the metal probes was to wide to fit into it's intended connector. I can't send it back because I tore it apart. I would not recommend that anyone buy it for a RY401017VNM
