I bought a Russel Hobbs Bread maker which arrived on 27th April, it was broken in 2 places and was unusable. I contacted the seller who worked with me for a claiming damages from the courier, proof sent from the seller and this is due to arrive in my account in the coming days, I happily supplied all evidence requested. I still have the broken one sitting in my home, as he wanted me to keep it while he waited for his refund from the courier in case they want to inspect it.

This is not true and 100% inaccurate. I issued the refund immediately after I had recived pictures of the damage, which is a requirement as proof of damage in transit as the item had clearly been damaged in transit or on receipt. I have email evidence and eBay notifications stating that I have provided a full refund to the buyer through ebay.
