I recognized this model in an official MATCHBOX Display Case instantly while visiting Leonard Park Pharmacy in Mount Kisco, New York around 1989. Instead, I was handed #23 Volvo Container Truck with Big Top Circus. I finally received the last model in stock but not in the original box. Other vehicles Made in England were available and purchased. This was #23 in the USA from 1982. Purchased #29 SNT in Window Box from same store many years ago. Box in good condition and model inside like new!

I have a loose model and always wanted one boxed. Lesney seemed to save money by not putting NEW on the last picture boxes of 1982. While not originally available to USA Collectors, the internet changed all that. Both wheels are easily removeable and can be snapped back into position. Child safety laws nowadays limit moving parts being detached, which makes this a treasure! Box in good condition while inside model is like new!

Usually, Corgi had the market on James Bond 007 line-up. Charlie Mack's Book mentions these models but not how they come packed in Window Boxes, which are in good-excellent condition and the artwork outstanding! I'm surprised a higher bid wasn't offered for these models made in England in 1985! I have both the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud & Renault Turbo 11 (Macau). The Renault Turbo 11 was never a Taxi in the original line-up, and I have a passion of collecting Taxis. Well packaged.
