The fittings ... “Condition: The lamp base in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips or damage. The fittings are in working order. Please note this lamp base uses a European two-prong plug. On the top of the bulb fittings sits a plastic plate, presumably to shield the bulb from dust. There is a hole in the centre, possibly from a light bulb that would have been too strong or too close to the plastic plate.Please note that I use strong lighting to help highlight the maximum amount of detail of each piece. As each piece is bathed in such strong lighting conditions, the on-screen effect will possibly make the item appear lighter in colour and tone. Your piece may look slightly darker in more natural lighting conditions.”
