I was assuming/hoping that the touchpad from this item would fix mine., as they were exactly the same models. So when installed, it did not work, and was bad as well. I did leave it in and just resolved to use a mouse instead. I did get a spare keyboard from this item, sending the remainder to the "landfill". I do feel I paid too much for the thing, and would not pay this again.
