As a professional, the seller explained in great detail (with fantastic illustrated photos) on how to use the remote control with the Zoom H6. In my opinion, the H6 is a bulky, a clumsy, a poorly designed, and difficult to use and difficult to manipulate the itty-bitty flimsy press/slide button functions. Having severe carpal tunnel in both of my hands didn't help either in operating the H6. Configure the H6 first, then use the remote control to manipulate the H6 with breeze and ease.

Totally recommend it. Just a note for people upgrading from the old model: the hood itself (not the connector) is slightly larger than the previous model. In my opinion is better.
