- o***t (55)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseCarbs and intakes fit my ‘82 xv750 well, included 1 into 2 throttle cable is too long, but that’s not a terribly difficult fix. Working on getting them to run without running away right now. I will note for anyone considering these that you have to run the bike in prime/gravity feed as the intakes don’t have the ports to run the petcocks on vacuum like the stock intake boots do. Great price for two carbs and the new intakes alone, and being able to use the stock air cleaning system is nice.

Would rate seller A+ Unfortunately the carbs do not come with a build sheet indicating which jets are installed that can then be used as a baseline. You will have to install the carbs to see how they run at your location and then replace jets and needles accordingly until you reach a setup that works for you. A base line setup specification with recommended part numbers for jets up and down the spectrum would help.
