The mould is missing the required overflow hole across the top of the filter, I have manually cut the hole in the lint filters I purchased to be able to use them. They also are not wide enough and too tall compared to the original LG lint filters, so are then loose in the washing machine housing and don't quite clip in. After modifying with a stanley knife it fitted a little more snugly.
