Some of the metal parts are a bit rusty but this just adds to the vintage character of the item. They were deposited for long years so there may be a tiny scent that I find negligible and that will go away with time. If you want your bag to smell like new you can wash it when you receive it. Being made of fabric it is really easy to wash, I would recommend you to wash it by hand to preserve the colors better. Really minor variations from the item shown in the pictures can occur. If you want some pictures of the exact backpack you will receive just drop me a note.”
