I got this to use with a IR camera laser system. Pros: actually worked with my rs485 controller(unlike 2 other models that never even worked), was ready to go right away out of the box. Cons: even though my camera is 1500g the mount would misbehave and start moving without imput and not enstill much confidence that it won't move spontaneously. I would recommend for a small camera
