The board is large enough to be easily playable and has beautiful dark and light squares featuring a lovely inlay design. The case is lined with a bright red fabric and there is a spot for secure storage of both the board and all 32 pieces. Overall, very pleased with this purchase and particularly impressed with the fine quality of packing and fast shipping time. Great experience!

The quality and workmanship of these chess pieces is exceptional.Not something I would say without good reason having spent 41 years in the woodworking industry. The feel in the hand , finish and timber selection way surpasses what I thought would arrive. In particular I must salute the carver of the knights. Very nice work. For the price paid it is remarkable.
