It is probably putting out about 2W. I don't have a meter that can read it, but it burns very quickly. Unfortunately, the beam quality is very bad. I am getting 3 very close beams that are about 1 mm wide and 7mm tall at the output. It is far too tall to expect to put it through my galvos and upgrade my projector. I think I will keep it just to do beam effects in the sky, but it is not what I hoped for.
They didn't lie, but I don't know what this is useful for other than a novelty.
