This was advertised as NIB but I quickly became skeptical when the box wasn’t wrapped In cellophane and the jar didn’t have that little plastic lid when I took the cap off. It was also shipped in a plastic bag no protection whatsoever and it was crushed (the box). So I really doubt that it was a new in box item. : (

It is indeed new and comes with a box, GWP from Lancome. Lancome does not provide a plastic-sealed version in a small package on the market, and even the large gift box does not have a plastic seal. Nice to buy a smaller size to try new products, and save money. If you spend $260 to buy 60ml size absolue cream, that includes a plastic sealed bag.
