Slightly different boot height and sizing slightly bigger but does mean I can wear thicker socks than I have been able to and the mid calf is ideal for what I need them for. They are waterproof but I have re-done on purchase to ensure longevity (my last pair survived 2yrs+). Very happy with my purchase and will happily recommend.
