Both items had been repaired. The seller had put the items up for sale for a friend but had not checked the items before packing. Well backed, but APO postage slow. Not his fault. The pepper shaker had 2 holes blocked withe glue? used in th repair Otherwise OK. The salt shaker had been broken and the porcelain break glued but not very well as one can see the break and feel it when used. Pity as the salt shaker is the most used of the pair. I accepted a partial refund for the salt shaker.
